PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Mabre Engineered Inline Process Pumps
Built in North America, MABRE vertical inline pumps are engineered for demanding oil and gas and industrial process applications.
Exceeding ASME standards and offering one of the broadest hydraulic ranges in their class, MABRE pumps deliver reliable performance where full API 610 compliance is not required.
Heavy-duty all-steel construction, fully enclosed impellers, and a maintenance-friendly design make MABRE a dependable choice for challenging operating environments.
Advantages
OVERENGINEERED FOR DEMANDING APPLICATIONS
MABRE units are built beyond standard ASME requirements to handle pressure, corrosion, and long-term service in heavy-duty environments.
Built for Long Service Life
Minimum 20-year service life with 1/8” corrosion allowance and robust construction designed for extended operation.
Fit-for-Purpose Design
Engineered for North American operations with rugged construction beyond ASME requirements, high nozzle load capabilities, and flexible hydraulic options.
Material & Configuration Flexibility
Available in Carbon Steel or Duplex SS with additional metallurgy options. Interchangeable parts and multiple configurations.
Standardized Connections & Protection
Includes 300# RF flanged suction and discharge nozzles, with a 1/8” corrosion allowance for extended equipment life.
Models
Three Fit-for-Purpose Designs
WPV-B OH3
- Flexibly coupled, vertical in-line, single-stage pump design.
- Incorporates a heavy-duty steel bearing housing that carries the loads generated by the impeller.
- Eliminates additional loads on the motor bearings, allowing the use of standard-design motors.
- Features duplex 40-degree, back-to-back angular-contact thrust bearings.
- Includes a cylindrical roller radial bearing.
- Bearing arrangement provides a basic L10 rating of 25,000 hours of continuous operation at rated conditions.
- Bearing housing is sealed with labyrinth bearing isolators.
- Available with grease or oil-mist lubrication.
WPV-R OH4
- Rigidly coupled, vertical in-line, single-stage pump design.
- Designed for use with LP-base motors.
- Uses a rigid coupling to transfer thrust loads generated by the pump to the motor.
- Allows the impeller bearing and mechanical seal to be replaced without removing the motor or major disassembly.
- Reduces major disassembly, simplifying maintenance and minimizing downtime.
WPV-HQ OH4
- Rigidly coupled, vertical in-line, single-stage pump design.
- Engineered for high-temperature service applications.
- Features a shaft tube with an integral convection cooling system.
- Eliminates the need for complex external seal-flush systems.
- Allows the mechanical seal to be removed without removing the motor.
- Reduces major disassembly, simplifying maintenance and minimizing downtime.
- The design is suitable for service temperatures up to:
- 177°C (350°F) for hot water services
- 288°C (550°F) for thermal oil services

| Design Service Life | 20-year service life 3 years uninterrupted operation |
MABRE will meet a 20-year service life with 3 years of uninterrupted operation |
No such requirement |
| Base Material | Carbon steel casing as a minimum, allowing weld repairs |
Some standardized materials for cost savings, full API materials are available upon request |
Cast or ductile iron. Casing usually is not repaired but replaced |
| Case Rating | ASME B16.5 300# minimum |
ASME B16.5 150# and 300# flanges available. Max 740 psi case design |
ASME B16.5 or ASME B16.42 150# minimum |
| Case/Cover Seal | Spiral-wound gasket (metal-to-metal fit) except for pumps with axial split-line. Cover thru-bolted directly to the case for a superior seal |
Same design as API |
Fibre case gasket. Back cover relies on clamping of the cover with cast/ductile iron support frames |
| Impeller Balance | ISO 21940 G2.5 minimum (8W/N) (some OEMs default to G1.0 – 4W/N) |
ISO 21940 G1.0 minimum (4W/N) |
ISO 21940 G6.3 minimum |
| Vibration Limits | POR vu < 3.0 mm/s RMS overall AOR vu < 3.9 mm/s RMS overall |
Designed to meet API Table 8 vibration limits |
